Lawyer Enrolment & Credence Application
The application digitises sensitive lawyer enrolment processes for the Supreme Court of Nigeria, from application and payment through validation, number allocation and credential processing.
What needed to be solved
The enrolment process required reliable application validation, safe spreadsheet imports, payment verification, controlled allocation of historical enrolment numbers and integration with web and mobile applications.
How I approached the problem
Built Node.js and Express services using Sequelize and MySQL.
Integrated a payment gateway for application-payment initiation and server-side verification.
Created a controlled enrolment-number pool with available, reserved and used statuses.
Implemented transaction-based Excel validation, rollback and temporary failed-record storage.
Integrated backend services with React and Flutter client applications.
